Clinicount helps you organize your own records. Your licensing board, not Clinicount, decides what counts toward your license. Always confirm requirements with your board and keep your original signed forms.
Not legal, clinical, or licensing advice
Everything in Clinicount, including requirement summaries, progress calculations, projected finish dates, encouragement messages, resources, FAQs, and community posts, is general information for organizing your own records. It is not legal advice, clinical advice, professional or career advice, or an official interpretation of any law, rule, or board policy. Using Clinicount does not create an attorney-client, supervisor-supervisee, or any other professional relationship with Clinicount.
No affiliation with licensing boards
Clinicount is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any state licensing board, department of health, government agency, testing organization, credentialing body, school, or professional association. Names of licenses, boards, and organizations are used only to describe requirements and are the property of their owners.
No guarantee of licensure
Clinicount does not guarantee that you will be licensed, certified, approved, or found eligible for anything, or that a board will accept your hours, supervisors, forms, or documents. Requirements differ by state and license, change over time, and may be applied differently to individual situations. Your board's current rules and decisions always control.
Accuracy of information
- Requirements: built-in rules were summarized from public sources on the date shown in the app. They may be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors. Check them against your board's official rules.
- Calculations: totals and progress depend on what you enter and how you categorize it. Your board may count hours differently.
- License lookups: come from public government data that may be delayed or wrong.
- AI features: can misread forms or write inaccurate text. You must review and confirm all AI results before saving or using them.
- Resources and links: third-party websites, CE providers, and crisis lines are provided for convenience. We don't control them and don't endorse or guarantee their content, prices, or availability.
- Community: posts are members' own opinions and experiences, not verified facts or official guidance.
Your records are your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for keeping your own copies of original signed forms and documents. While we take care to protect your data, any online service can experience outages, errors, or data loss. Export your records regularly, especially before applying for licensure.
Not a clinical records or HIPAA system
Clinicount is not an electronic health record or a HIPAA-covered system, and it is not intended to store protected health information. Do not enter client or patient information. You are solely responsible for your own confidentiality, legal, ethical, and employer obligations.
Not an emergency service
Clinicount is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clinicount and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, Clinicount or any information in it, including the denial, delay, or revocation of a license or certification, rejected or miscounted hours, missed deadlines, lost records, lost income or employment, or decisions made by any licensing board, employer, supervisor, or school. Clinicount is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
The full warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability are in sections 14 and 15 of our Terms of Service, which control if anything here conflicts. Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
